We’ve been managing waste in Richmond for over half a century, growing alongside the city and the many communities within it as a trusted partner. We’re not just located here; we’re invested here, working every day to leave a lasting positive impact through responsible, innovative C&D waste management.
We know that being a good neighbour means more than just managing waste responsibly. That’s why we’ll always work closely with local governments, provincial authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all environmental standards. This collaborative approach minimizes disruptions like noise, odour, and traffic, ensuring we operate respectfully and efficiently alongside the residential and commercial communities around us.
On the first Saturday of September each year, Ecowaste hosts an open house event and welcomes hundreds of community members to visit our Richmond facility. This event is more than just a tour; it’s an opportunity for transparency, dialogue, and strengthening the relationships that are essential for sustainable growth and mutual understanding.
For 2025, our open house will take place on September 6th. Visitors see our innovative recycling processes and sustainability practices firsthand, learning how we’re helping solve local challenges such as waste reduction and the housing crisis. By opening our doors, we’re reinforcing our commitment to accountability, transparency, and community collaboration.
