Auctioneers, Seaspan Corporation, and a Carlyle Group portfolio company, Ken brings extensive expertise in financial management. His commitment to strategic and sustainable growth is driving the next phase of Ecowaste’s evolution in the industry. Ken holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UBC.
Chief Financial Officer, Ecowaste Industries Ltd.
Tony has nearly 25 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, capital markets, corporate finance and strategic planning in across numerous sectors, with a focus on the real estate industry. A Vancouver native, Tony has also worked in Toronto and London, England, for a diverse cross-section of corporations, institutional investors and family offices. He now leads the finance and accounting groups at Montrose and Ecowaste. Tony is a CPA, CA, and he has a BA from UBC, a diploma in financial management from BCIT and a diploma in urban land economics from UBC.
Vice President of Recycling and Waste Services, Ecowaste Industries Ltd.
Christian has spent his entire career in waste management, starting out in solid and hazardous waste management in the US followed by a decade in the UK and Canada focusing on the recycling of residential waste and organics management. He has held senior management roles in the design, procurement, construction, commissioning and general operation of a mechanical biological treatment facility, materials recovery facility and anerobic digestion and composting facility. Christian holds a BSc in environmental science from Lake Superior State University and an MBA from Seattle University.
Site Superintendent, Ecowaste Industries Ltd.
Nabil has worked with Ecowaste since 2014, initially as an equipment operator and lead hand before advancing to his current position of site superintendent. He is involved in the management of health and safety, environmental, maintenance and operations at Ecowaste. Nabil has lived in Richmond since 1996, where he attended school and played for local soccer teams. He holds a BASc in chemical and biological engineering from UBC.
Landfill Foreman, Ecowaste Industries Ltd.
Starting as an equipment operator at Ecowaste in 2001, Shaun has held positions of increasing responsibility in operations and maintenance and was appointed foreman in 2015. His comprehensive understanding of the site enables him to manage staff and resources efficiently, including assigning and managing work, overseeing maintenance and directing contractors working on site.
